Product detailed description
Hends Nanothread 30D - 18/0 - Ultra-Strong Micro Fly Tying Thread (100m Spool)
The Hends Nanothread 30D - 18/0 is a high-performance fly tying thread, engineered for strength and finesse. With a diameter of 18/0 and tensile strength of approximately 1140 grams, it is one of the strongest ultra-thin threads on the market—virtually unbreakable during tying.
Its slightly twisted multi-fiber construction makes it easy to handle, ideal for dubbing loops, precise wraps, and delicate fly bodies. Because of its ultra-fine diameter, there’s no need to split the thread for dubbing — just make a quick loop and go.
Though limited in color range due to dyeing difficulty, white can be easily tinted with an alcohol marker, allowing you to customize fly head color to your needs.
Key Features:
✔ Ultra-thin 18/0 (30D) fly tying thread
✔ Extreme tensile strength – approx. 1140g
✔ Easy to work with thanks to slightly twisted fibers
✔ Perfect for dubbing loops, dry flies, and small patterns
✔ White thread can be colored with alcohol marker
✔ Spool length: 100 meters
