Product detailed description
Hends Nanothread 20D - 22/0 - Ultra-Fine, High-Tensile Fly Tying Thread (100m Spool)
Hends Nanothread 20D - 22/0 is one of the thinnest and strongest fly tying threads available on the market. With a diameter of 22/0 and a tensile strength of approx. 750 grams, it offers unmatched durability while maintaining a super-fine profile—perfect for tying the smallest and most delicate fly patterns.
Made of multiple fine, slightly twisted fibers, the thread is easy to work with, allowing you to form dubbing loops quickly without splitting. Although the color range is limited due to the difficulty of dyeing such fine fibers, the white thread can be colored easily using an alcohol marker to create custom head finishes.
Ideal for micro flies, midge patterns, and precise tying work where thread bulk must be minimized.
Key Features:
✔ Ultra-thin 22/0 thread (20D) for micro and precision flies
✔ Extreme strength – approx. 750g tensile strength
✔ Smooth and slightly twisted for easy handling
✔ Perfect for dubbing loops and tight spaces
✔ Customizable color with alcohol markers
✔ Spool length: 100 meters
