Lightweight insulation for changing fishing conditions

The Simms Fall Run Hooded Jacket Black is designed for anglers who need adaptable warmth without unnecessary weight or bulk.

Its mapped insulation system places 60 g PrimaLoft® Rise insulation in the core and hood, where warmth is needed most, while the sleeves use 40 g insulation to preserve freedom of movement and make layering easier beneath a technical shell.

PrimaLoft Rise offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and continues to insulate even when wet. The insulation is made with post-consumer recycled content, combining dependable cold-weather performance with a more considered material choice.

The outer and inner fabrics are made from 100% polyester with a refined matte finish that reduces shine and gives the jacket a cleaner technical appearance. The outer fabric is also abrasion resistant, making the jacket well suited for use beneath waders, bibs, packs and other fishing equipment.

A C0 DWR finish helps shed light moisture and spray, adding useful weather resistance in changing conditions.

The hooded version features an adjustable cinch system designed to keep the hood stable in strong wind while maintaining peripheral vision. This makes it especially practical in exposed river, lake and marine environments.

For storage and warmth, the jacket includes YKK® zippered handwarmer pockets and an internal chest pocket on the wearer’s left side.

Wear it as a standalone insulated jacket in cool, dry conditions or as a warm mid-layer beneath your favorite Simms shell when the weather deteriorates.
