The Smith Creek FlyVue Picket Fence Fly Storage Tray provides structured fly organization while helping protect delicate materials and maintain the original shape of your flies.

Its precision die-cut picket-fence foam layout contains 164 micro-slit retention points. The narrow slits securely hold hooks while allowing flies to sit deeper inside the tray than with conventional flat foam layouts.

Recessed channels between the rows create extra space for upright fibers, vertically wound hackle and bulkier fly bodies. This reduces unnecessary compression and helps prevent delicate materials from being crushed during transport or storage.

By preserving the profile and shape of each fly, the tray can help extend the usable life of carefully tied patterns. The regular layout also provides clear separation and visibility, making it easier to compare flies and quickly select the required pattern at the water.

The Picket Fence tray is particularly suitable for dry flies with upright hackle, Euro nymphs, jig flies and other high-profile patterns that require additional clearance.

Made from precision die-cut, UV-resistant EVA foam, the tray combines dependable hook retention with lightweight durability. Its low-profile snap-fit construction allows it to be quickly installed, removed or exchanged within the FlyVue modular chest pack system.

A stainless steel ribbon pull-tab tool is included to assist with easy tray removal.
